Ganesha Aarti (Sukhakarta Dukhaharta)
Ganesha Aarti: Sukhakarta Dukhaharta
Sukhakarta Dukhaharta is a popular Marathi Aarti song dedicated to Lord Ganesha, composed by saint Samartha Ramdas. The term "Sukhakarta Dukhaharta" literally means "bestower of happiness and remover of distress". This Aarti is usually sung at the end of Ganesha Puja, by waving diya (oil/ghee-soaked lit) in front of the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is the Hindu God of knowledge, wisdom and new beginnings. Regular recitation of this Aarti with pure heart pleases the Lord, and the devotee will be blessed with knowledge, wisdom, and protection from all hurdles in life.
