Luv & Kush singing Ramayana Luv and Kush were the sons of Rama and Sita, who were born in the hermitage of Sage Valmiki, where Sita spent her days after exile from the kingdom. After the war with Ravana, Rama came back to Ayodhya with Sita. Since Sita was captivated in Ashokavan by Ravana, Rama wanted her to prove her purity and chastity for which she had to go through the test of fire (this was a ritual at that time).
